Success v. Acquaintance

Sometimes I feel like people who succeed in life have few friends, if any. I once thought it didn't matter since I hardly found anyone I could trust. Nowadays, I somewhat wish I could bridge the differences between me and people around my age. That is hard to do however because few people like me try to do extraordinary things in their youthhood while they still have the chance. The board games that interest me that I can make my peers a part of are what they call " boring, time-consuming stuff that requires a lot of thinking". They also seemed to hint that they thought I was too smart for them too, but that couldn't have been proven since nobody accepted my challenges. Although, I am grateful for being given something to esteem myself with.

Somehow, stuff that calls for a lot of thinking sounds exactly like why more people should be involved in. I found out that the teen years are the best years for humans to do the best that they can do. This goes back to my school senior project.

The thing is my success in life feels like a divider between me and friendship. But the real problem is almost nobody is as considerate of the future as I am. The way I see it, the more time you spend making unwise choices and staying unprepared for the future, the less you will have accomplished, and succeeded in when everything comes full circle.

School Schedule Screw-ups

Throughout the whole school semester, I and many of my other collegues have had to deal with the pressure of having so many sudden school changes and schedule revisions. We now have 4 lunch periods instead of 3, and the exams took place 2 weeks before the semester is set to end. At first I thought the new lunch schedule would be helpful to us, but it turned out to appear to most of us as a boundary that separates us from our school mates we are closely acquainted to. I used to not take that into consideration since I was not ready to declare myself a "friend" of anyone's at school. That was when I considered the fact that people my age often let me down when I trust them with anything. However, I found myself closer to others in the friendship status when I got tired of introversion for the first time in my life.

Also, the regular exam days were organized so that 2 exams would happen on 1 day and the last 2 on the next day. Afterwards, the Algebra, English, and Biology I exams for freshmen took place and the people who weren't in them had 4hr.-and-40-min. blocks, then lunch and block before the last one for the rest of the day. In other words, 4th came before 3rd, 3rd before 2nd, and so on until the day 1st was supposed to come before 4th (today). Apparantly, we went back to regular schedule since the other exam-takers did so well. I congragulate them for doing good, but I wish the original plan was kept instead of changed at the last minute.

What I really don't understand is why the exams were set up so that there would be 2 weeks worth of time to make up for them if needed. Because of this, my Chemistry class had to cover a whole test-grade subject after the exams, and we are still working on it!
