If there is one thing I find extremely annoying, pathetic, and pointless, it is the case of fan wars. They have no good reason to exist or meaning in life because people who love the same thing fight each other over that thing when it is something anyone can have or agree on such as a great series or some kind of potential hit/trend. I recently heard that at least 2 of the worst fan wars known to man is related to Sonic the Hedgehog and Lord of the Rings. I also heard the Total Drama series has a worse case of fan wars than the Twilight Saga, Avatar: the Last Airbender, Harry Potter, and The Huger Games Trilogy COMBINED.
Worse than that, most fan wars revolve around romance. It just sounds so pointless to argue over what characters would make a good love couple in a popular series. What would really be nice is if fans could just talk about series stuff they agree on for a change and forget about romance results because popular stuff does not need to be fought over by people who collectively like it. It seems like romance is not understandable by large audiences. The people in the romance are to make their love choices and live with them and NO ONE is supposed to interfere with the connection directly or fight each other about it. All that should be followed is good romance morale and then fighting over love-lives will become more worthless than it already is. If this fan war stuff continues on, the whole world is clearly going to be a big mess to horrible for most people to comprehend.
I have more I would like to say about the series: The Legend of Zelda. I found out that at some point, there is going to be a new strategy game in the series called "Hyrule, Total War." It is still a work-in-progress, but a lot of work has already been decided and done for the game.
The main plot seems to take place after the events in "Twilight Princess." It begins when Link uses a time-altering version of the Master Sword to go back in time to his younger days. This causes havoc for Hyrule, in which the outcomes of major wars in Hyrule's history reverse themselves to nonexistence, thus allowing losing factions of these wars seconds chances for victory. As a player, you choose what factions to play as and rewrite Hyrule's History yourself. Whatever you choose, you must create your forces of war, command your troops in the heat of battle, control your efforts for the success of the war, and, above all, conquer all of your enemies.
Below is and image of the 6 factions that can be chosen from at the beginning of the game. There is, however, a total of 21 playable/unlockable factions and nearly 10 factions that appear in the campaigns that are not playable but have significant influence in them. More jazz is to be expected in the future for the game, but I can already tell it is calling to me considering I really enjoy war, strategy, and variety games as well as the Zelda series itself. I hope it turns out as great as I currently expect.
For more info about the game, here is a link to the site everything here came from.
In the previous post, I have given my thoughts and opinions about the television show series "Total Drama." Now in this one, I have all 13 episode clips/links from the 4th season, "Total Drama Revenge of the Island." Each clip and link is in chronological order and some of them are half-clips in which they are half played on one clip and half on anther. Also, some are sideways but are still viewable. The ironic thing is the series will air in America this Summer and yet all of the episodes are posted in English on Youtube where I got these clips from. I know I'm not much for spoiling when I consider things for the better, but this season was originally supposed to air LAST year and I wanted to make the best of things and I have not heard of this posting stuff being considered wrong. In future post(s), I may have as many Total Drama seasons 1-3 clips posted as possible.
I would like to say for the record that if I had to pick a favorite cartoon TV show series, it would have to be the "Total Drama" series. it is a cartoon reality, drama show where teenage contestants compete against each other in grueling challenges and vote each other off in elimination ceremonies until one is left with victor's prize money. Each season is one competition and while the first one was for $100,000, each season after that has offered prize money of $1,000,000. It has the most realistic animation I have yet seen on flat background, and there's never really a full knowing what to expect until the drama hits all.
Throughout the first 2 seasons, 22 contestants have been featured, then the third season added 2 new contestants. In Summer, there is expected to be a fourth season with 13 all-new contestants and despite the fact that the first 3 seasons had 26 episodes each, the fourth will have only 13 episodes. even though it is a short season, I find it better than the first 3 to be honest. I also admit that while it would overall suck to let antagonists triumph, the ones in this series are some of the best contestants to watch. The contestants all come in different varieties and everyone who has seen them has different opinions as to ho are the best.
Below are images related to each season in chronological order. All characters are in the pics and the official season names are in them too.
If there is one thing I wonder, it is this: why are video games with unlockable scenes, images, and goals designed to be things for players to strive for when so many people can and do spoil each other with the prizes by showing what they are on the web? For example, a while ago, I discovered that the GBA game "Metroid Fusion" has different ending images depending on how quickly the game is complete and how many items the player has collected. There are 5 different ones and each one is better than the last. The best one is awarded if you beat the game in less than 2 hours and collect all of the items. I found out that the image and the other 4 can be websearched and that has made me believe that people tend to post VG unlockables and cheats/codes in a way that anyone, and I mean ANYONE, can just websearch games, find out what the rewards are for completing certain parts of games or completing them in certain ways, and learn possible cheat codes to make games easier in some way without really needing to.
I know that I am guilty myself for finding out what the ending images are for the game even though I neither beat it nor got the highest credit in the game. Nevertheless, I try not to spoil myself that way when I can resist the temptation, and I am prouder than one would think by being so darn guilty. Most people have no guilt at all.
Don't get me wrong, I am grateful to the people who post VG tips, outcomes, and walkthroughs for helping out gameplayers who genuinely need that kind of help. I would never have beaten some games or knew certain things about some games without these acts of assistance. I respect the fact some people really do need help on some games and I know that plenty of them deserve that help. In fact, there is one of the webclips on my previous post to consider since it is an ending of a game. It was meant to be there to help me make my point in the post. Besides, I would not be surprised to hear that most people are aware of how the "Twilight Princess" game ends by now, considering the fact that the game itself is 6 years old.
Still, I think that a lot of people shouldn't search for help on VG's if they haven't tried hard enough, or even tried at all to beat the hard parts on their own. Most of the cheats, codes, and other unlockable goodies ought to be reserved for people who desperately need them, or have earned the right to them by trying really hard and eventually needing them.
To uphold these thoughts, I imagine that soon enough, if not now, all game secrets and advice sites will have to start making software programs that prove whether or not someone has tried to do a hard part in a game. Then the person would be allowed to learn what he or she needs to know in order to beat the game.
Another reason why people should not spoil themselves with VG's is because it tends to ruin the true quality and suspense that VG's are meant to have. By cheating ahead and advancing towards the endings, climaxes, and other juicy stuff too soon/at all, the purposes of VG's to test people's hand-eye coordination and be exciting, dramatic, mysterious, and suspenseful clearly get wasted. I hope that fact becomes clear to those who don't know it soon so that VG's can still have good meaning.
Whether you have or have not played or beaten the game: "The Legend of Zelda, Twilight Princess", don't hesitate to read this post because I have more to say on this subject than just how the game ends.
A little while ago, I managed to beat the storyline for said game and I have a lot to say about it. The ending was actually one of the most mentally-testing endings I have ever seen, but that doesn't say whether or not it was good in my opinion.
The next few sentences describe the ending itself and at the bottom of this post is a web clip of the ending. To Youtube, and the people who posted the clips on the site, I owe you all one in an infinity!
The end starts when the characters Midna, Link, and Zelda are at the mirror chamber during the credits. This is when the three give their fond farewells and Midna returns to the Twilight Realm. I appreciate that it was mentioned that the light and shadow worlds were connected. Midna said that she and Link could meet again as long as the Mirror of Twilight was around. However, she produced a light tear, went through the warp to the Realm right before the tear destroyed the mirror as she intended. The rest of the music in the credits was made of sharp/flat notes. The whole ending was a sad, heartbreaking moment for me to see how that dynamic duo divided and I find that said music fits in well with my emotions that continue to revolve around it.
At first, I found it unbelievable that Nitendo would make the game end that way. But then, I remembered sooner or later that at the very beginning of the game, it was said that the 2 worlds intersect during the 1 hour of twilight everyday. The moment that the memory came back to me, I knew then that the moment when the mirror was destroyed was not the last time Link and Midna would cross paths. I told myself that there was still the intersection of the 2 worlds and then came an idea I thought of that Link's shadow could serve as a reminder of Midna. After all, she spent most of the game in his shadow.
Overall, it seems to me that the ending truly tested the memories and imagination a true Zelda fan should have. The whole series of Zelda games appears to focus on action, adventure, planning, and puzzle solving.
Nevertheless, I hope that Midna gets brought back into the Zelda Series and presented as a main character in a Zelda game that takes place after Twilight Princess on the Zelda Timeline. I also hope that the overall quality of the possible game is just as good as the Twilight Princess game, if not better. One reason why I would like to see her return is because her character has changed for the better in the end. When I got to the part in the game where she was first introduced, I noticed how selfish, sassy, and insensitive she started as. But since then, she has changed in characteristics and decided to fight in order to save the light world as well as the Twilight realm. Thus, she has taught me that people who make unwise choices, and have unwise characteristics and selfish intentions can still change no matter how far they go down the path of wrongdoing. She also helped me realize that light really can be found in the darkest of all darkness. If she were to reappear in the Zelda series, I think all of us can learn more things from her and her examples.
Below is a Twilight Princess music clip with music that takes place right after the Lakebed Temple is completed and Link is supposed to bring Midna to Zelda to save her life from her exposure to the light that the false king Zant forced upon her. This music made me think about Midna's noticeable change in character that has become one of the best reasons why she is my favorite character in the whole series aside of how great a fighting companion she is to Link. When I heard this music and learned what the title is, I also thought of how it must have been for all of us to see Midna and Link separate the way they did. I honestly don't blame Nitendo for testing our mentality and faith by making the game end with a revolutionary resolution, but I still hope and pray to God that Midna returns to the series with either a turnout equally successful to Twilight Princess or better.
Has it ever seemed like random circumstances come into your life and make things too hard for you to handle on purpose? If so, then you are most definetly not alone. I have been a victim of unforseen events that conflict with my original plans for pretty much everything. Often times, my weekends seem to get stolen from me when something comes up and stops me from carrying out what I mean to do at first. Being in Boy Scouts, I often have to devote my weekends and spare time toward participating in Scout-related events. Sadly, they often got in the way of time at home that either my family or I intended to use for other purposes such as weekend activities.
That may have been why my family stopped trying to do fun things together. Then again, we seem to have too few positive things in common with each other to want to be around one another. Most of the things we have in common are what most people would consider "undesirable traits." Some examples include focusing on negative situations, remembering them to where we judge each other using them, and low energy as well as esteem. Most of the time, my parents are in one room with one of my brothers in another room, the other in another, and me in the last room usable for solitude. I often wish that would change in which we could see more positive things in each other that makes us similar.
Below is a clip tht comes from a Drake and Josh episode that revolves around my point regarding positive reactions in bad times.
